I had a lovely time at this hotel, located on the quieter end of Waikiki beach, which made for a peaceful stay yet still allowed for easy access to the lively areas of the city. While the rooms were a bit on the small side, they had everything I needed and offered stunning views that made up for it. The dining options were fantastic, and the local restaurant had an amazing breakfast. The only downside was that some areas of the hotel could use a little updating. Overall, a great place for a beach getaway!

I had an amazing time at this hotel, located right on Kaimana Beach at the quieter end of Waikiki. The rooms were spacious and offered breathtaking ocean views, making my stay feel extra special. The staff went above and beyond to assist and were genuinely nice. However, I did find some facilities a bit outdated, and the restaurant, while good, could be pricey for breakfast. Overall, it’s a fantastic choice for those seeking a peaceful Hawaiian getaway.

The New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel offers a truly serene getaway, perfectly located at the quieter end of Waikiki, near beautiful Kapiolani Park. The ocean views from the rooms are fantastic, although they are on the smaller side. The service is friendly and casual, fitting for the island vibe, though it's not the most polished experience. Dining at the Hau Tree restaurant is well worth it for its picturesque setting, despite the prices being on the higher side. The location is unbeatable for those looking to escape the hustle but remain close to attractions.

Rooms

The oceanfront rooms offered stunning views but were a bit small and unremarkable compared to what I had expected for the price.
Service

The service was very friendly and had that easygoing island style, but at times it felt a little too laid-back for my liking.
Location

The hotel has all the essential amenities, but don't expect extravagant facilities; it's more about the location and the views.

I had an incredible stay at Kaimana Beach Hotel, right on the beach with breathtaking views. The staff was genuinely helpful and friendly, making my first trip to Hawaii memorable. However, while the dining options were excellent, they were on the pricier side, and getting around could be tricky without a shuttle service. Overall, it's a beautiful spot that balances tranquility with accessibility to local attractions.

Our room was comfortable, and waking up to the view of Diamond Head was simply stunning. It felt a bit small, but we didn't mind much since we spent most of our time outdoors.
Service

The service was friendly and accommodating, especially the valet and housekeeping. However, there were a couple of instances where requests took longer to fulfill than expected.
Location

Dining at the Hau Tree Lanai was fantastic, but the prices were certainly high. The atmosphere made it worthwhile for a special occasion.
Facilities

The facilities were good, featuring a lovely beach and nearby park. However, I wished there was more variety in dining options on-site due to some closures.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, which boasts a stunning location right at the end of Waikiki beach, away from the crowded tourist spots. The ocean views from my room were absolutely breathtaking, and the hospitality from the staff made the experience even better. However, I found the rooms to be quite small, which can be a bit cramped, especially when you're trying to relax after a day in the sun. Additionally, while the common areas are lovely, they do show signs of aging.

Rooms
7.0
The room had an incredible view of Waikiki and the ocean, but it was quite small and on the cramped side. Despite that, it came well-equipped with a refrigerator and a proper coffee maker, allowing me to enjoy my own Hawaiian breakfast of fresh fruits and macadamia nuts.
Service
8.0
The staff was excellent and very attentive, making my stay feel more special. However, I did experience a hiccup when I specifically requested a quiet room but ended up right by the elevator, which was a bit disappointing.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, positioned right on the beach yet away from the hustle and bustle of central Waikiki. It's perfect for those seeking a more relaxing atmosphere while still being close enough to enjoy the attractions.
Dining
8.0
I had breakfast in the restaurant and enjoyed the beautiful ocean view, which definitely enhanced the dining experience. The menu offered a variety of options, although I wished for more local specialties.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities were well-maintained, and I particularly appreciated the easy beach access—just a few steps away! However, I did feel that some areas could use a refresh to keep up with the overall quality of the stay.
